Wendy’s Fires Employees Over a Viral Video of Someone Bathing in Sink

A video of an individual wading in a sink in the back of a Wendy’s restaurant has been sparking a lot of debate on social media this week.
The video, taken at a Wendy’s in Greenville, MI, was initially posted on TikTok by a user who goes by @paulkash2. It has since been removed; however, when it was uploaded on Facebook by somebody named Connor Somerfield, it rapidly went viral.
In the 23-second video, the individual is sitting in a sink filled with water and isn’t wearing a shirt. He tells different people that it “feels like a hot tub,” and an individual in a Wendy’s uniform tosses something in his path.
Somerfield shared it on Facebook with the caption, “So yeah, I’m just going to inform everybody right now DONT NOT VISIT THE GREENVILLE WENDYS. THIS IS DISGUSTING PLEASE SHARE THIS.”
Comments shortly began gathering on his post. “I hope everyone got fired,” one user wrote. “The silliest and childish disgusting thing I’ve ever seen!!” another wrote.
Delish contacted Team Schostak Family Restaurants, which controls 56 Wendy’s locations along with the Wendy’s in question, and so they issued us this statement, attributed to VP of human resources for Staff Schostak Family Restaurants Christian Camp.
